BURLINGTON — A 26-year-old man from Connecticut was arrested following a weeks-long investigation into the distribution of fentanyl in Burlington.
Police say Devontrez Flowers led police on a short foot chase along Church Street in Burlington before being taken into custody without further incident.
The investigation was a collaboration between the Burlington Police Department and the NWVDTF, which consisted of two controlled purchases of fentanyl.
A search warrant was conducted at 88 North Street in Burlington following his arrest.
Police are still investigating this incident.
Flowers was arraigned and held for lack of $5,000 bail.
