Police arrest one, looking for second suspect after Braintree burglary

BRAINTREE — A 19-year-old woman from Bethel was arrested following a burglary in Braintree yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of an active burglary at a home on Route 12A at around 1:00 p.m.

With the assistance of local 911 callers, police were able to locate a vehicle involved in the incident.

The occupants fled into the woods near 12A and Duclos Road, police say.

State Police K9 unit was activated and tracked two suspects into the woods.

Jasmine A. Brown was taken into custody off Duclos Road.

Brown was released on a citation to appear in court today.

The second suspect has been identified as James A. Badger, of Royalton.

Badger has not been located.
