WHEELOCK — A 61-year-old man from Sheffield was arrested following an incident in Wheelock yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of individual trespassing on Kenniston Hill Road at around 6:30 p.m.
Police say they observed a man, identified as Paul Baillargeon, seated in a motor vehicle at the location.
While speaking with Baillargeon, police say they observed several signs of alcohol impairment.
Police say that Baillargeon is required to operate a motor vehicle with an ignition interlock device, which the vehicle he admittedly drove did not have.
He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and criminal DLS.
He was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing, and released with a citation to appear in court on October 24 to answer to the charge of DUI #6 and DLS.
