SHREWSBURY — A 42-year-old man from Mount Holly was arrested following an incident in Shrewsbury yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop for an observed motor vehicle violation on Vermont Route 103 at around 5:55 p.m.
While speaking with the driver, Bobbijo Chambers, police say they observed signs of impairment.
Chambers was administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests roadside and was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Troopers also learned that Chambers’ license was under criminal suspension for a previous DUI.
He was transported to the State Police Rutland barracks for processing.
He faces charges of DUI #2 and DLS.
