EAST BURKE — A 32-year-old man from Lyndon was arrested following an incident in East Burke on Saturday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop for several violations on Mohawk Drive at around 9:40 p.m.
The driver was identified as Cole Hunter.
While speaking with Hunter, police say they several signs of alcohol impairment.
He was arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.
He was found to be violating his conditions of release by operating a motor vehicle and consuming alcohol.
At the completion of the tests, Cole was released with a citation to answer the charge of DUI #2, VCOR, and DLS.
