BRISTOL — Police are investigating an incident that occurred in Bristol yesterday.
Authorities were notified of an assault at a home on Vermont Route 116 south at around 6:00 p.m.
Troopers spoke with a woman who reported an unknown man driving a white truck entered her property.
Police say the woman reported she was outside when the man approached her asking questions before assaulting her.
The woman told police that she was able to get away from the man before he fled.
The victim sustained a minor injury and did not require medical attention.
Police say they are still investigating the incident.
