GRANVILLE — A 22-year-old woman from Waterbury was cited following a crash with injuries in Granville yesterday.
The two-vehicle head-on crash took place on Route 12A at around 6:50 p.m.
Police say both drivers, Hallie Nelson, 22, of Waterbury, and Karen Hedding, 46, of Roxbury, were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
According to the report, Nelson was traveling south on Route 12A, before crossing the center line and colliding with Hedding.
Additionally, police say Nelson displayed signs of impairment.
She was later processed for DUI and issued a citation to appear in court on December 5 for driving under the influence and careless and negligent operation.
