CAMBRIDGE — A 25-year-old man from Hyde Park was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Cambridge yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 109 at around 5:15 p.m.
According to the report, Timothy Eastman was traveling north on VT Route 109 when he began to lose control of the vehicle.
Eastman attempted to correct back onto the road and in doing so traveled across the centerline where the vehicle departed the road a second time and overturned.
Police say speed and impairment were not contributing factors in this motor vehicle crash.
During the investigation, it was found that Eastman’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was under criminal suspension.
It was also found that Eastman had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear stemming from another Criminal DLS case.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Office.
