HIGHGATE — A 40-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Highgate on Tuesday.
Authorities say they were notified of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance at home on Lamkin Street at around 10:45 p.m.
Police say they spoke with Nicolas Tanner, of Highgate, multiple times when they arrived.
On the 4th time, Tanner emerged from his home.
He had a bow and arrow and screamed numerous times for officers on the scene to shoot him.
After a brief struggle, he eventually threw the bow and arrow down and was taken into custody.
He was lodged on $2,500 bail.
Police say no one involved in the incident required medical care beyond what was provided on scene by Missisquoi Valley Rescue.
