MONKTON — A driver crashed into a porch in Monkton on Monday night.
Authorities say they were notified of a motor vehicle crash into a home on Monkton Ridge Road at around 9:50 p.m.
Adam Rutherford, 19, of Williston, was traveling northeast on Monkton Road approaching the intersection of Monkton Ridge Road and Bristol Road, prior to the crash.
Rutherford failed to stop at a stop sign and the vehicle traveled through the three-way “T” intersection and collided with the front porch of an apartment building.
Rutherford’s vehicle bounced back after impact, striking a parked vehicle.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Mid State towing out of New Haven.
State Police were assisted by the Monkton Fire Department and Bristol Rescue.
