BRISTOL — A 54-year-old man was killed during an ATV crash in Bristol yesterday.
The incident took place in the woods off Colin Drive, south of the intersection with Cove Road, at around 7:50 p.m.
The driver was identified as Matthew White, of Bristol.
Police say White was pronounced deceased on the scene.
According to the report, White was driving his ATV up a hill while marking the trail for later hunting.
The ATV overturned and landed on him.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by members of the Bristol Fire Department, Bristol Rescue Squad, Bristol Police Department, and Middlebury Police Department.
Police say they are still investigating this crash.
