HUNTINGTON — A 60-year-old woman was arrested for DUI following a crash in Huntington on Tuesday.
The single-vehicle rollover crash took place in the area of Main Road at around 3:40 p.m.
The vehicle was seen on its roof in the ditch on the side of the road, and the driver, Kelly A. Degrechie, of Huntington, was out of the vehicle.
Degrechie had stopped on the side of the road to make a phone call when the embankment gave out, causing her truck to roll over into the ditch.
She sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and was medically evaluated.
While speaking with Degrechie, police say they observed indicators of impairment and she was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
She was released on a citation to appear in court.
