Driver seriously injured during crash in Sheldon

SHELDON — A 44-year-old man was seriously injured during a crash in Sheldon yesterday.

The single-vehicle crash took place near the intersection of Route 105 and Woods Hill Road, at around 8:10 a.m.

Police say that Richard Westover, of Enosburg, was traveling west along Route 105 when he left the road.

The vehicle rolled onto its side in the adjacent field.

Westover was transported to the Northwest Medical Center due to severe injuries.

The vehicle was towed away from the scene.

State Police and the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles were assisted on the scene by the Sheldon Fire Department and AmCare Rescue Services.
