Burglary in Brownington

BROWNINGTON — Police are investigating a theft that took place in Brownington on Sunday.

Authorities were notified of stolen property from an address on Willoughby Lake Road at around 3:20 p.m.

The stolen property consisted of two ice fishing sleds, a wooden taboggan, five jig sticks, fifteen to twenty ice fishing tip-ups, an older model black in color Coleman generator, and a twin tank air compressor.

The owners of the property, Allan and Keith Herman, told police that the generator was stolen from inside the home and the rest was stolen from the garage on the property.

The burglary is believed to have happened sometime between July 29 and last August 14.
