RICHMOND — A 46-year-old woman from South Royalton was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Richmond last week.
Authorities say they were notified that a wrong-way driver was spotted on I-89 at around 12:55 a.m.
The vehicle was traveling north in the southbound lane.
Troopers, along with Williston Police Department, located the vehicle in the single lane of the construction zone near exit 11.
The driver was identified as Rebecca Rogers.
While speaking with Rogers, police say they observed several indicators of impairment.
She was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
During processing, Rogers intentionally damaged state property, police say.
She was released with conditions and flash-cited to appear in court to the charges of DUI #3, gross negligent operation, and unlawful mischief.
