SWANTON — A 21-year-old woman from St. Albans was severely injured during a crash in Swanton yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on I-89 north at around 11:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police that they were behind a vehicle when it hydroplaned and lost control before crashing.
The witnesses stopped to render aid.
Troopers arrived on the scene and identified Kayla Regimbal as the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.
Police say Regimbal sustained severe injuries and was transported to Northwest Medical Center to be treated.
