POWNAL — A 17-year-old from Bennington was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Pownal on Sunday.
Authorities were notified of a car reported off the road and down the embankment in the area of US 7 and Jackson Cross Road at around 1:00 p.m.
Police say that the driver was headed north when he hydroplaned and lost control.
The vehicle hit a tree and went down the embankment.
The young driver was transported to SVMC with minor injuries.
Pownal Fire and Rescue were also on the scene assisting troopers.
