FAIRFAX — A trooper from St. Albans was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Fairfax yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of an active domestic disturbance that was escalating and witnesses were calling 911 at around 5:30 a.m.
State police initiated a response to this location.
Trooper Christopher Finley was operating his assigned police cruiser south on Vermont Route 104 near the intersection with Rocky Ridge Road en route to the call.
Police say Finley lost control of his cruiser while negotiating a left-hand curve.
He crashed into an embankment with small trees.
There was no airbag deployment, and police say he was not injured.
