BERKSHIRE — A 29-year-old man from Michigan was arrested on a warrant in Berkshire early this morning.

Authorities say they were notified of a call from the US Border Patrol advising they had a man in custody identified as Edward Hendricks-Johnson, of Detroit, MI.

Police say Hendricks-Johnson had an extraditable warrant out of Michigan

State police say Hendricks-Johnson was deemed a parole absconder for an original charge “punishable by death or imprisonment for up to 10 years.”

Hendricks-Johnson was transported to the St. Albans State Police barracks for processing.

He was lodged without bail at Northwest Correctional Facility and issued a flash citation for court for the offense of fugitive from justice.
