Man arrested in Lyndonville for assault, larceny

LYNDONVILLE — A 27-year-old man was cited following an incident in Lyndonville on Monday.

Authorities say they were notified of a family fight on Post Office Lane at around 12:35 p.m.

Police allege that Trent Demers, of Lyndonville, assaulted a household member, violated his conditions of release, stole a bicycle, and destroyed the siding of the home.

Demers was transported to NERCC for the lack of having a court-approved residence and custodian.

He was cited into court today for the charges of VCOR, 1st-degree aggravated assault, larceny, and unlawful mischief.
