Three-vehicle crash with injuries in Arlington

ARLINGTON — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash with injuries in Arlington on Friday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 7A, near the intersection of Vermont Route 313, at around 3:25 p.m.

Three vehicles were located on the northbound shoulder of Vermont Route 7A with property damage, and Arlington Rescue Squad was evaluating operators and occupants.

According to the report, all three vehicles were traveling north prior to the crash.

One of the drivers was a 17-year-old juvenile, of Arlington, who was traveling 40 miles-per-hour before rear-ending the second driver, identified as Carol Johnson, 40, of Arlington.

Johnson’s vehicle was propelled into the third driver, Ronald Bennett, 31, of Readsboro.

Police say Johnson and Bennett were stationary as they were stopped to allow traffic in front of them to turn left onto Vermont Route 313.

Johnson reported minor neck pain from the incident.
