Sheffield man arrested for DUI #2 in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 32-year-old man from Sheffield was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in Lyndon yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a citizen dispute involving multiple parties on Woodbury Lane at around 11:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, police say they were able to locate and identify an involved man as Tyler K Gomes.

Following an investigation, police found that Gomes arrived at the home briefly before law enforcement arrived.

While speaking with Gomes, police say they noticed signs of impairment.

He was screened and placed under arrest for DUI #2.

He was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.

At the conclusion of processing, Gomes was released to a sober adult and issued a citation to appear in court.
