Charlotte man charged with damaging property at Ferrisburgh store

FERRISBURGH — A 37-year-old man from Charlotte was charged following an incident in Ferrisburgh earlier this month.

On July 5, state police were notified of a vandalism complaint on US Route 7.

According to the report, a customer had dismantled two protective shields near the cash registers at the store.

Police say they were able to identify the individual who vandalized the store property as Shawn A. Mathieu.

Mathieu was issued a citation to appear in court on September 12 to answer the charge of unlawful mischief.
