Single-vehicle crash with injuries New Haven

NEW HAVEN — A 73-year-old man from Rutland was involved in a single-vehicle crash in New Haven yesterday.

The crash took place on US Route 7, at the intersection of Lime Kiln Road, at around 3:00 p.m.

The driver was identified as Jeffrey Marshall.

According to the report, Marshall was traveling south when he attempted to go around a southbound vehicle in front of him that was turning east onto Lime Kiln Road.

Marshall’s vehicle exited the road and hit a large culvert.

Police say he sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash, and was transported to Porter Medical Center by Bristol Rescue for further medical evaluation.

US Route 7 in the area of the crash was temporarily reduced to one lane of travel during this incident.

State Police was assisted by Bristol Rescue and the New Haven Fire Department.
