Police: Man arrested after stopped in stolen vehicle, intoxicated

RUTLAND — A 32-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Rutland yesterday.

Troopers say they were notified of agency assistance from the Rutland City Police Department with a motor vehicle stop on US Route 4 at around 5:10 a.m.

Following an investigation, police allege that Bryan Bailey-Clark was in operation of a vehicle that had been reported stolen several days prior with a criminally suspended license.

Also, Bailey-Clark was alleged to be impaired by substances other than alcohol.

He was transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.

A judicial official was contacted, and conditions of release were imposed.

He was ordered to appear in court today for the charges of aggravated operation without the consent of the owner, criminal DLS, possession of the stolen property, and DUI – drugs.
