RUTLAND — Police are investigating after a fire broke out in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a building fire behind Forest Street.
Firefighters arrived at around 11:10 p.m.
A garage/outbuilding was fully engulfed in flames and partially collapsed.
Crews remained on the scene extinguishing hot spots with efforts hampered by the building’s structural integrity due to the fire.
Police say nobody was injured and all units were cleared from the scene by 2:30 a.m.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
