WEST PAWLET — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in West Pawlet yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 30 at the intersection of North Pawlet Road, at around 12:45 p.m.
Police say that Kellan Smith, 18, of Easton, CT, was headed south on North Pawlet Road, and William Maynes, 39, of Pawlet, was headed north prior to the crash.
Smith failed to stop at a stop sign and proceeded into the intersection of Vermont Route 30 before being struck by Maynes.
According to the report, a passenger in Smith’s vehicle was transported to Glens Falls Hospital.
