RICHFORD — Four people were cited for disorderly conduct following an incident in Richford yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a dispute in the area of Main Street, near Troy Street, at around 6:20 p.m.
Troopers arrived on the scene where the parties were separated and identified.
Police say Roger Laplant, 49, Nicole Rheaume, 44, Charles Trayah, 39, and Laina Brassil, 33, all from Richford, were the parties involved.
Following an investigation, it was found that Laplant, Trayah, Brassil, and Rheaume disturbed the peace by recklessly engaging in fighting, violent, and tumultuous behavior.
Police say they created a risk of public annoyance and inconvenience while engaging in such behavior, which included using abusive and obscene language in a public place.
They were all charged with disorderly conduct and issued citations to appear in court to answer for the charge.
