SWANTON — A 33-year-old man from Sheldon was charged following a crash in Swanton yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Woods Hill Road at around 11:00 p.m.
The driver was identified as Joshua Sweet.
Police allege he was showing signs of impairment when they arrived.
Police also say Sweet’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was under a criminal suspension.
He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
He was transported to the VSP St. Albans barracks for processing.
He is being charged with DUI and criminal DLS and is scheduled to appear in court on July 19.
