WILLIAMSTOWN — A 42-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Williamstown yesterday.

Investigators say they suspected that crack cocaine was being distributed from a home on Graham Road.

During the course of the investigation, police say probable cause was developed that Rex Comstock was facilitating the distribution of crack cocaine from his residence.

Yesterday, troopers with the Berlin barracks and officers with Barre City Police executed a search warrant on Comstock’s home.

During the search of the home, police say they located approximately 7 grams of crack cocaine.

Following an investigation, it was found that Comstock had court-ordered conditions of release not to buy, have, or use regulated drugs.

Comstock was taken into custody for the charges of possession of cocaine and violation of conditions of release and transported to the Vermont State Police Berlin barracks for processing.

He was issued a citation to appear in court and released.
