CHARLESTON — Police are looking for a 57-year-old man following an incident in Charleston on Saturday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault that occurred the night before on Westmore Road at around 8:00 p.m.
Police say two people were injured during the altercation.
According to the report, Kevin Guckin was present at the home of Walter Stanton, 59, of Charleston, and Robert Sykes, 67, of Charleston, when a verbal altercation turned physical.
Guckin was determined to be the main aggressor, police say.
Stanton had minor injuries while Sykes was transported to North Country Hospital for what police describe as serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say efforts to locate Guckin have been unsuccessful and a warrant for his arrest was sought.
Anyone with information about Guckin’s whereabouts is asked to call Trooper Miller at the Derby Barracks at 802 334 8881.
