BENSON — A 51-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in Benson yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight on Howard Hill Road at around 8:30 p.m.
Following an investigation, it was found that Stephanie Trepanier, of Benson, caused harm or bodily injury to a family or household member and then left the home in a vehicle.
While speaking with Trepanier, police say she showed signs of impairment and was screened for DUI.
She was placed into custody and transported to the Castleton Police Department for processing for the charges of domestic assault and DUI.
She was released with court-ordered conditions and a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
