ROCKINGHAM — A 30-year-old man from New Hampshire was cited for assault following an incident in Rockingham on Wednesday.
Authorities say they were notified of an assault at the Rodeway Inn at around 3:30 p.m.
Police say that the accused, David F. Polito, of Derry, NH, physically assaulted Daniel A. Braley, 42, of Springfield.
The assault followed a verbal altercation.
Polito was released with a criminal citation to appear in court on July 26 for the charge.
