ST. JOHNSBURY — Emergency responders were called to a fatal motorcycle crash in St. Johnsbury yesterday.
The crash took place on US Route 5 at around 1:45 a.m.
According to the report, a group of motorcycles was headed south prior to the crash.
Police say Guy Clouatre, 61, of Henryville, Quebec, lost control of the vehicle causing him to lay the motorcycle down in the travel portion of the road.
Dany Bouchard, 52, of Mont-Saint-Gregoire, Quebec, who was following close behind, was unable to avoid colliding with Clouatre.
Bouchard and a passenger were thrown from the motorcycle.
The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
