MORGAN — A 49-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested for DUI following a crash in Morgan yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 114 at around 11:15 p.m.
Police say they responded and located James Butler with his vehicle on Route 114.
It was found that Butler was traveling south when he went off the road and struck a utility pole.
Police say Butler displayed signs and indicators of impairment.
After a subsequent investigation, police arrested Butler for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and transported him to the Derby barracks for processing.
He was released on a citation.
Both VT Electric Co-op and Greniers Towing responded to assist.
