DUMMERSTON — A 55-year-old woman from Massachusetts was arrested following an incident in Dummerston yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight in progress at a home on Evans Road at around 3:30 a.m.
State Police arrived on the scene and found that Vanessa Jordan, of Pittsfield, MA, crashed into a vehicle and then left the scene intoxicated.
Police located Jordan at the home and arrested her for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, and unlawful mischief.
She was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on July 26 to answer to the charges.
