Man arrested for unlawful trespass, mischief in Wallingford

WALLINGFORD — A 34-year-old man was charged with unlawful mischief following an incident in Wallingford yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a trespassing complaint on North Main Street at around 4:00 p.m.

Police say William Ingalsbe was on the property and refusing to leave after being requested to when they arrived.

While speaking with Ingalsbe he became agitated and aggressive toward troopers.

He was arrested for unlawful trespass.

Ingalsbe was transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.

While at the barracks, Ingalsbe destroyed government property resulting in an additional charge of unlawful mischief.

He was issued a citation to appear in court on July 11 to answer the charge.
