Police: Driver arrested for DUI drugs in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — A 24-year-old man from Pomfret Center was arrested for DUI following an incident in New Haven on Wednesday.

Authorities were notified of a car parked in the middle of the intersection of Halpin Road and River Road at around 11:25 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle and identified the driver as Ethan Rogers.

While speaking with Rogers, police say they detected indicators of impairment.

Rogers was screened, placed under arrest, and transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing.

At the conclusion of processing, Rogers was released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.

Vermont State Police were assisted by Middlebury Police Department.
