HARTLAND — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash involving an ambulance in Hartland on Tuesday.
Emergency responders say they were notified of a medical emergency on I-91 at around 7:05 p.m.
At around 7:25 p.m. police were notified an ambulance had been involved in a collision on I-91.
According to the report, a Hartford Fire Department ambulance was traveling south toward a U-Turn in the area.
The ambulance entered the U-Turn and continued through, crossing into the northbound lane.
It crossed into the path of a Toyota Tacoma being driven by Chase Lord, 33, of Charlestown, NH.
Lord attempted to avoid colliding with the ambulance by stopping.
Police say Lord’s Tacoma struck the ambulance causing minor damage to both vehicles.
Police say nobody was injured in this crash, and both vehicles were drivable.
The ambulance was able to continue to the medical emergency and transported the patient to DHMC for treatment.
