Man held without bail after assaulting two men in Fairfax

FAIRFAX — A 38-year-old man from New Jersey was charged following an incident in Fairfax early yesterday morning.

Authorities say they were notified of an assault that took place on Tabor Hill Road at around 3:15 a.m.

Police say they spoke with all parties involved and it was found that during the course of an argument, Christopher E. Kosovich, 38, of Toms River, NJ, assaulted both Charles Dowling, 36, of Fairfax and Edmund J. Harris, 34, of Fairfax.

The assault caused serious bodily injury.

Harris was transported to Northwest Medical Center for extensive injuries to his face.

Kosovich was arrested and transported to the State Police barracks for processing.

He was charged with aggravated assault and simple assault and was held without bail at the Northwest State Correctional Facility.
