CONCORD — A 34-year-old man is facing charges following an incident that took place in Concord last month.

On May 9, authorities say they were notified of an assault at around 7:00 p.m.

The victim and witness on the scene told police that Jesse Stevens, of Concord, arrived at their bonfire, extremely drunk and uninvited.

Witnesses say that Stevens was asking everyone on the scene to fight him.

Police say Stevens was asked to leave and he refused to do so.

Further statements revealed that Stevens struck one victim with a metal pipe multiple times, resulting in serious bodily injury.

It was also noted that Stevens was struck with the same pipe prior to him striking the victim.

He was located and arrested this week for the charges of aggravated assault, unlawful trespass, and interference with access to emergency services.

He was released with conditions of release.
