DERBY — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Derby yesterday.
The crash took place on US Route 5 at around 12:40 p.m.
According to the report, Steven Bascetta, 29, of Charleston, was traveling east, and Jenny Blevin, 37, of Derby, was in the center turn lane and traveling west prior to the collision.
Police say Blevin attempted to turn into the parking lot of Hoagies, striking Bascetta’s vehicle.
According to the report, the cause of the crash was found to be Blevin failing to yield right of way while turning left.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported, police say.
