Driver arrested after hit-and-run in Bradford

BRADFORD — A 41-year-old man from New Hampshire was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in Bradford this morning.

The two-vehicle crash took place in the area of Waits River Road at around 8:00 a.m.

Police say the at-fault driver immediately fled the scene.

An investigation determined that a dark-colored chevy SUV crossed the centerline and struck the second vehicle head-on.

Police say moderate damage was sustained by both vehicles, but no injuries were reported.

State Police locate the at-fault diver, identified as Corey Cooker, of Haverhill, NH.

Cooker was issued a citation to appear in court for the charge.
