RUTLAND — A 32-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following a crash in Rutland yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place at the intersection of Merchants Row and Center Street at around 12:35 a.m.
According to the report, a vehicle crashed into the median and then left the scene of the crash.
Police say they located the driver, identified as Michael Reyes, of Rutland, a short time later and arrested him for DUI #3 refusal, leaving the scene of a crash, and an ignition interlock violation.
During processing, Reyes became belligerent and assaulted an officer, who sustained minor injuries.
A judge was contacted and Reyes was lodged on $500 bail.
