RUTLAND — A 38-year-old man from Fair Haven was arrested on a warrant in Rutland on Tuesday.
Police say they located Nicholas Karov, who was known to have an active arrest warrant while patrolling the area of Baxter Street at around 8:45 p.m.
After a brief foot chase, Karov was taken into custody.
Police say Karov was charged with resisting arrest as well as having a warrant for failure to appear.
The failure to appear was on charges of felony eluding a law enforcement officer, negligent operation, DUI#3, and vehicle operation without owner’s consent.
