Three-vehicle crash on US Route 5 in Derby

DERBY — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in Derby yesterday.

The crash took place on US Route 5 at around 2:00 p.m.

According to the report, Lisa Lafoe, 59, of Derby, was stopped at a red light prior to the crash.

Police say Nicole Gleason, 26, of Holland, crashed into the rear end of Lafoe’s vehicle.

The impact caused Lafoe’s vehicle to crash into a vehicle driven by Moira Quirion, 35, of Derby.

Police say Gleason reported injuries and was transported by EMS to the North Country Hospital.

Lafoe and Quirion were uninjured.

Gleason’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Ray’s Auto.
