ROCKINGHAM — A 54-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Rockingham yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a violation of an abuse prevention order and stalking at a home on Upper Bartonsville Road.
Police identified the man as Robert M. Richards, of Rockingham.
Police say he violated his court-ordered abuse prevention order/stalking, by failing to remain 100 feet from the victim.
He was arrested for the violation.
Richards was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court today to answer the charges.
