MONKTON — A 40-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in Monkton yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight at a home on Hardscrabble Road at around 9:30 p.m.
Police allege that Stacey Benson, of Monkton, intentionally caused bodily injury to a household member.
Also, it was found that Benson had operated a vehicle while under the influence.
Benson was placed under arrest and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
She was charged with domestic assault and DUI.
At the conclusion of processing, she was conditionally released to a sober party with a citation to appear in court.
