Man arrested on warrant in Lowell

LOWELL — A 53-year-old man was arrested on a warrant following an incident in Lowell yesterday.

State Police and Missisquoi Valley Ambulance Service say they responded to a call for service on Vermont Route 100, at around 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, police learned that George Tarby, of Lowell, had an active instate warrant.

The warrant was for a charge of criminal threatening.

Tarby was taken into custody and transported to Northern State Correctional Facility.
