DUI crash on Vermont Route 64 in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 64-year-old man from Massachusetts was cited for DUI following a crash in Williamstown on Saturday.

Authorities say they were notified a car struck a utility pole on Vermont Route 64 at around 10:30 a.m.

According to the report, Robert Yeadon, of Hanson, MA, was driving in an erratic manner when his vehicle left the road and collided with the pole.

Yeadon was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

While speaking with Yeadon, police say he displayed several indicators of impairment and was processed for DUI.

He was issued a citation to appear in court on July 6 and released.
